Kristie Petrullo founded Petrullo Wine Consulting in 2012 upon her departure from Jean 

Georges’ namesake restaurant in New York City where she was the Chef Sommelier. During her tenure at Jean Georges, Kristie was the only female to hold that title at a Michelin three-star rated restaurant in the United States, France, Italy, and Germany. Before joining JG, she was the Beverage Director at Tom Colicchio’s flagship restaurant Craft (NYC); Sommelier at Restaurant Daniel (NYC) and Eleven Madison Park (NYC); and Wine Director at Market Restaurant (Napa Valley, CA). 

Ms. Petrullo is the 2013 Spokesperson for the Wines of France and Director of Education at 

Vintry Fine Wines. She helped develop a Wine Service course with the American Sommelier 

Association, and she often sits on the NY Times tasting panel. 

In 2010 Kristie Petrullo appeared in the NY Post article “Wine and Dandy” as one of New 

York’s Top, Hot, Young Sommeliers. Ms. Petrullo has also been featured as one of “New 

York’s Best Sommeliers” at French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF). She was included in 

Food & Wine Magazine’s Best New Wine Lists in 2004.
